Your Role:
As a Skilled Fabricator Welder, you will play a crucial role in inspecting and repairing vehicles and equipment within the workshop or on-site, performing both scheduled and reactive welding repairs to a high standard. Your contributions will ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of our fleet and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and perform routine welding maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
Provide input on improving techniques and efficiencies for vehicle and plant machinery.
Ensure the safe operation of all welding and other machinery.
Work under your own initiative and seek guidance when required.
Keep tools and equipment in good working order and clean at all times.
Undertake any other related duties or special projects as required.
Adopt the company safety culture, effective housekeeping, and wear PPE at all times in the workshop and yard areas.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills:
Knowledge of welding tools and equipment
Team player with good communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Good coordination for performing specialist skilled duties
Ability to drive a variety of vehicles safely
High-Quality Welding: Perform welding to a high specification.
Safe Equipment Operation: Ensure safe operation of all equipment and machinery.
Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of site housekeeping.
