We are seeking a skilled Fencer to join our team, responsible for the installation and maintenance of various fencing structures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain fencing systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Collaborate with clients to assess their fencing needs and provide suitable recommendations.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation processes.
Conduct site assessments to determine the best methods for fence installation, including measuring and marking out areas.
Perform tasks related to carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, welding, and electrical work as required.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the duration of projects.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential.
Proficiency in carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical experience, and fabrication is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools relevant to fencing installation.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
