Overview

We are a leading office furniture supplier specialising in high-quality, ergonomic solutions for businesses. As our company grows, we're looking for a skilled and reliable Furniture Installer to bolster our current team. Our main warehouse is based in Ballyclare, with our teams in the road through out NI. As well as local work in NI and ROI, we also have a growing pipeline of export orders to the EU, and would require our teams to travel from time to time (with appropriate renumeration).

Responsibilities

Safely transport office furniture using our company vans to various locations throughout Ireland. Efficiently load and unload furniture, ensuring all items are handled with care. Assemble loose furniture (e.g. office furniture, racking, Wall Panelling, Aluminium Acoustic Pods etc.) on-site using tools (e.g., power drills, Allen keys etc.). Conduct basic inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment. Communicate professionally with clients and team members to ensure smooth deliveries and installations. Follow schedules and maintain timely deliveries while adhering to road safety regulations.

Experience

Valid Driver's License:

Clean driving record with van driving experience.

Valid Passport:

A valid GB passport, with no hindrances in entering EU countries.

Assembly Skills:

Proficient with basic tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and Allen keys. Prior experience with flat-pack furniture is highly desirable.

Physical Fitness:

Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.

Reliability:

Punctual and organized with strong attention to detail.

Customer Service Skills:

Friendly and professional demeanour when interacting with clients.

Problem-Solving Ability:

Quick thinking to address on-site challenges, such as minor adjustments to furniture assembly.

Pay: From 25,000.00 per year

Application question(s):

Candidates should consistently be able to travel to job sites in EU (company funded) and stay for up to 1 week at a time
