Job Description

JPB Landscapes is an award winning landscape and grounds maintenance contractor based near Colchester, Essex accredited by the Association of Professional Landscapers.

We provide a landscaping service from full garden builds to smaller works including fencing, driveways, patios, and turf to both domestic and commercial clients and help create the perfect outdoor space.

As a skilled hard and soft landscaper you will have a key role in the continued success to our business. You will be part of a team who work together to continually strive to develop and provide the best service to our clients.

As a skilled landscaper you will be expected to lead a small team of 2-4 people and be responsible for the delivery of garden build projects to the highest of standards.

An example of your day to day duties will include;

All aspects of landscaping including leading a small team in the delivery of projects consisting of the installation of paving, fencing, retaining walls, turfing, bed and border preparation.

This role requires the successful candidate to have;

-Full driving license

- Competent towing
- Minimum 3 years hard landscaping experience.

- Proven track record in leading a team to execute high level projects.

- Being able to read plans and set out

- Being able to lay paving and complete all other landscape tasks to a very high standard

- Competent using excavator and associated plant and tools.

- Brick and block work experience an advantage

- CSCS/SMSTS an advantage

- Excavator and dumper ticket an advantage

You must be reliable and trustworthy with a passion for the work and industry. You must have great attention to detail.

This role is available as either a self employed contractor or full time employment with competitive rates of pay.

You will be provided a works vehicle and tools for the job which will be kept at our yard overnight.

Working hours are 7-15 am to 4-30pm Monday to Friday.

There will be an initial 12 week trial period in place.

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
