What you'll do
Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently on construction sites.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to execute tasks accurately.
Assist in plumbing, electrical work, and masonry tasks as needed to support project goals.
Perform concrete forming and finishing, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Engage in carpentry tasks including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and door hanging.
Conduct restoration work and remodeling projects that enhance existing structures.
Collaborate with team members on heavy equipment operation for site preparation and material handling.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all duties on-site.
Basic qualifications
Proven experience in construction or skilled trades with a strong understanding of building processes.
Familiarity with construction management principles and estimating techniques.
Ability to operate various tools including power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in specialized areas such as roofing, plastering, or glass installation is a plus.
Knowledge of hardscape installation techniques and practices.
Welding skills or experience in flooring installation or tile laying are highly desirable.
Previous experience working on construction sites with an emphasis on safety protocols.
