Duties

Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment on-site Preparing work areas by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, or organising materials Supporting skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, or plumbers during project execution Operating basic hand tools and machinery in accordance with safety guidelines Carrying out general site maintenance including cleaning, waste disposal, and organisation of materials Assisting with the installation of structures or fixtures as directed Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a secure working environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or related manual labour roles is advantageous but not essential Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks over extended periods Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team Basic understanding of health and safety practices relevant to construction sites Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as required Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
This role requires a proactive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all tasks undertaken.
