About Us:

We are a growing property maintenance and refurbishment company specialising in social housing works, including void properties. We deliver efficient, high-quality repairs and refurbishments to bring properties back to a lettable standard. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable Labourer / Semi-Skilled Labourer to join our team.

Role Overview:

You will work alongside tradespeople carrying out general labouring and basic maintenance tasks on void and occupied social housing properties. The role will involve supporting trades, maintaining safe work areas, and assisting in bringing properties back to a clean and ready-to-let condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting trades such as carpenters, plumbers, painters and multi-trades. Carrying out basic repairs under supervision (e.g., removing fixtures, minor patching, sealing, clearing debris). Site preparation and cleaning before and after works. Delivering materials and keeping the site tidy & well-organised. Waste removal and ensuring correct disposal procedures are followed. Reporting any issues, defects or hazards to supervisors. Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard.

Requirements:

Previous experience in construction, maintenance or labouring role preferred but not essential. Basic hand tool knowledge. Good work ethic, reliable, and willing to learn. Ability to work as part of a team and take instruction. Full UK Driving Licence preferred (not essential depending on location). Must be respectful when working in social housing environments.

Desirable:

CSCS card. Asbestos awareness training. Experience in void / responsive works.
