Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable General Labourer to support a range of construction and property works. The role involves assisting with residential strip-out works, site logistics, basic landscaping, and groundworks activities. The position is hands-on and requires a proactive approach to maintaining safe, efficient, and tidy working environments.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with strip-out and rip-out works within residential properties Manual handling and removal of materials, fixtures, and waste Supporting deliveries, loading and unloading materials, and site distribution Grass cutting, basic landscaping, and general external maintenance works Assisting with groundwork activities, including preparation for concrete slabs Supporting installation of fencing, including chain link fencing (where required) Maintaining site cleanliness and complying with health and safety requirements Following instructions from site supervisors and working collaboratively with trades
Skills and Experience

Previous experience as a general labourer or similar role preferred Any groundworks experience, particularly slab preparation or fencing, is advantageous Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions Basic understanding of site health and safety practices Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
Desirable (but not essential)

Experience with small tools and basic construction equipment CSCS card (or equivalent), if applicable Previous experience on residential or domestic construction sites
Personal Attributes

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Good timekeeping and attendance Flexible and adaptable to different tasks and site requirements
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
