Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site Support skilled tradespeople by preparing work areas and handling basic tasks Carry out manual labour such as digging, lifting, and moving materials Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety standards are met Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision, adhering to safety protocols Assist in setting up scaffolding, barricades, and other temporary structures as required Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely

Skills

Proven ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately Basic understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills Previous experience in construction is necessary. Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
