Duties
Assisting with the preparation and organisation of work sites, including loading and unloading materials.
Supporting tradespeople by providing necessary tools, materials, and assistance during tasks.
Carrying out general labouring duties such as digging, lifting, and moving materials safely.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by clearing debris and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assisting in the installation of structures, fixtures, or equipment as directed.
Operating basic machinery or tools under supervision, subject to training.
Supporting site supervisors in daily operations to ensure project timelines are met efficiently.
Qualifications
Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or general labouring roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual tasks over extended periods.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to construction sites.
A valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory; however, willingness to travel between sites is essential.
