Consilium Hortus is a boutique garden and landscape design studio delivering premium outdoor spaces for high-end residential clients across Essex, Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties. We are known for meticulous detail, refined craftsmanship, and an elevated client experience.

We are now seeking a

Skilled Labourer

to join our team and support the delivery of our landscape projects to the highest standards.

The Role

You will work alongside our Site Lead to help construct and develop high-quality landscape schemes. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving on site, and has a strong interest in gardens, design, and outdoor environments.

Typical tasks include:

Assisting with hard landscaping works (paving, groundwork, foundations, decking, fencing) Supporting planting works and soft landscaping preparation Operating machinery and tools safely and correctly (training provided where needed) Loading/unloading materials and maintaining a clean, organised site Helping implement site set-ups, levels, and layout under the Site Lead's instruction Ensuring all work meets Consilium Hortus's quality, safety, and presentation standards

What We're Looking For

Previous landscaping or construction experience (minimum 1 year preferred) Strong work ethic and a positive, dependable attitude Good problem-solving skills and the ability to follow technical instructions A genuine interest in high-quality outdoor environments Ability to work well as part of a small team Understanding of site safety and professional conduct Full UK driving licence required
