Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction trades and be capable of performing a wide range of tasks on-site. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including residential, commercial, and restoration sites, utilizing a broad skill set to contribute effectively to our team's success.

Duties

Assist with general construction activities, including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as needed Install doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, tile, and other fixtures Conduct roofing, stucco application, plastering, and caulking tasks Engage in carpentry work such as trim carpentry, framing, door hanging, and cabinet installation Support plumbing and electrical installations with proper safety procedures Assist with demolition, restoration projects, and site cleanup Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction site work with knowledge of various trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, or electrical work Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is preferred Familiarity with construction management practices and estimating is a plus Strong understanding of safety standards and protocols on construction sites Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Physical stamina to perform demanding manual labor for extended periods
