Job Summary

We are expanding and looking for a reliable, experienced Skilled Labourer to support our refurbishment, fit-out and facilities management projects across Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various construction, maintenance, and installation projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with practical skills and a strong work ethic to contribute to diverse projects within a dynamic environment. The role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Assisting with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up equipment Loading and unloading materials and supplies safely and efficiently Operating basic hand tools and machinery under supervision Supporting skilled tradespeople with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling components Maintaining a clean and organised work area to ensure safety standards are met Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during project execution Performing general labouring duties as required to support project timelines

Experience

Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or related manual labour roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Ability to operate basic tools and machinery is advantageous Strong physical fitness with the capacity to perform manual tasks for extended periods Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to construction or industrial environments is beneficial Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
