We are seeking a skilled and dedicated labourer to join our plastering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying . Responsibilities
Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary before plastering.
Mixing plaster to the correct consistency using hand tools or power mixers.
learning to install lath or mesh reinforcement where required for exterior or specialised finishes.
Learning to repair damaged surfaces by removing old plaster and reapplying new layers.
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and project specifications.
Operating power tools such as mixers, saws, and drills safely and effectively.
Performing minor carpentry tasks related to the preparation of work areas or installation of fixtures.
Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Experience
Proven experience in labouring for plasterer would be ideal
Experience working with power tools such as mixers, drills, and saws.
Knowledge of building materials and surface preparation techniques.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations within a construction environment.
Candidates should demonstrate organisational skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality work. Previous experience working on residential or commercial projects will be considered an asset.
