We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Manchester. This hands-on role involves assembling pumps and mixer equipment to high-quality standards, following technical drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities



Assemble pump and mixer equipment in line with engineering drawings and company procedures Conduct production tests and complete detailed test reports Inspect and ensure all parts and assemblies are fit for purpose Operate manual and power tools safely and efficiently Collaborate closely with colleagues to maintain an efficient build process Accurately record work and support departmental coverage as needed Travel occasionally for work-related tasks Follow all NOV Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) procedures

Qualifications & Skills



Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3) Proven experience with PC pumps and wastewater product assemblies Working knowledge of mechanical seals Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Proficient with hand tools and mechanical assembly techniques Basic computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook) Trained in manual handling, slinging, and lifting Strong awareness of HSE protocols and standards
