Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofing Labour hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to roofing and property maintenance. This role involves working with various tools and materials, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Working at height. The Labourer will play a crucial role in supporting skilled tradespeople and contributing to the successful completion of projects. The successful candidate will understand that this is a freelance position to begin with however it may lead to more in future for an exceptionally good candidate

Any candidates who apply must have at least 5 years experience within the roofing industry. Don't apply if you don't have the required experience criteria as the application will not be considered

The position is on offer with a 6 month trial period as a sub contractor which may lead to long term for an outstandingly good candidate

All applicants must be very reliable and motivated with a good working attitude. All applicants must also be willing to work on the times and days as required.

Responsibilities

Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Build structures, including frameworks, as required. Perform heavy lifting as necessary, ensuring proper techniques Engage in masonry work Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly. Perform standard roofing labouring duties Previous experience in a similar labouring role is essential Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and equipment safely is essential. Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship is required. Reliable and responsible Must understand that availability for required days / times of work is essential with no exceptions
