Job Description
TMA Property Maintenance an established contractor who operate across the West Midlands in the domestic, residential social housing sector, are seeking an experienced and pro-active Roofing Supervisor / Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Roofing. This role requires proficiency in using various tools and equipment, as well as the capability to manage and guide a team of roofing tradesmen. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled roofing professional to step into a long-term role with a growing company.
Responsibilities
Successfully manage 3-5 roofing teams, ensuring they have the correct quantities of materials on site to complete the job in hand. A good understanding of various roofing materials is essential. Strong technical knowledge of the different roofing types and systems. Maintaining accurate records during any surveying to ensure you have accurate information to put together the quote on your return to the office Creating quotes using scheduler rates Communication with clients to ensure that the company provide the solution for their roof works Knowledge of Scaffolding would be beneficial. Flexible working attitude and a willingness to support colleagues when required
Qualifications
At least 5 years proven experience in a supervisory role Computer literate, including excel. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and equipment relevant to surveying tasks. Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety protocols. Experience with roofing, welding, masonry, or fabrication is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Capability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and other third parties.
A full clean UK driving licence is essential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 33,000.00-40,000.00 per year
