An opportunity has arisen for a skilled tractor operator to join our small team as part of a larger business in the North Cornwall area. This is very much a hands on role within a productive mixed farming business.

The successful applicant will be an experienced and keen operator with very high standards to work, be enthusiastic with attention to detail. You will be expected to work as part of a team but also be able to work under your own initiative as and when required. A sense of humour is essential as is common sense!

Some of the roles will include slurry application via umbilical systems and large modern tankers; land preparation; cultivation; fertiliser spreading; carting of muck, grain and straw and moving farm livestock.

Machinery is well maintained and the successful applicant would be required to have a reasonable level of workshop and servicing skills to support the current team. You would be required to keep and submit up to date field records.

The applicant must have a full UK driving licence and if you held additional certification in PA1/PA2 and/or HGV, this would be an advantage or training can be given if desired.

The remuneration package will be offered to reflect ability and experience.

Working Monday to Friday with every other weekend. Additional hours will be required during busy periods.
