Salary:

25,870 per annum + 7% employer pension contribution, 1% employee contribution

Hours:

35 per week (part time/ job share considered)

Working Pattern:

Monday - Friday 9.00 - 4.30pm however some flexibility.

Holidays:

37 inclusive of 12 Statutory days

Location:

Based at Head Office, 144 - 152 Ravenhill Road, Belfast or North Down Office, 6 Enterprise Road, Conlig, BT19 7TA.

Travel to and from other locations is part of the role.

Contract:

Permanent subject to funding

Overview

Orchardville is a voluntary organisation and registered charity that supports young people and adults with learning disability or autism to live, learn and work. Established in 1982 we offer high quality day opportunity and employment services to over 600 participants each year who attend services in Belfast, North Down, Lisburn and Derry/ Londonderry. The work we do is life changing for participants, enabling them to lead independent lives, gain employment and become fully included in their community.

We are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Skills Tutor with experience of delivering training programmes to people with disabilities or disadvantage , enabling them to become more independent and ready for employment. The role involves delivering a range of OCN Entry and Level 1 accredited training programmes as well as other courses and workshops that develop social confidence and vocational skills. We have developed a wide variety of courses for participants to choose from including employability skills, money management, ICT, driving theory and Barista skills and we are always adding to the menu of options.
