Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering techniques and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role involves applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth finish, ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning and applying bonding agents as necessary. Mix plaster to the correct consistency and apply it evenly using hand tools and power tools. Finish plastered surfaces to a high standard, ensuring smoothness and uniformity. Repair damaged plasterwork and carry out maintenance on existing surfaces. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including bricklayers and carpenters, to ensure seamless project execution. Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

Experience

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role is essential. Familiarity with bricklaying, masonry, roofing, and welding is advantageous. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to plastering tasks. Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality finishes consistently. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
