Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will MUST have 3 experience in applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and even finish. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The successful applicant will be responsible for various plastering tasks in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, smoothing, and applying bonding agents as necessary. Mix plaster according to specifications and apply it to walls and ceilings using appropriate techniques. Ensure that all plasterwork is finished to a high standard, free from imperfections. Repair and restore damaged plaster surfaces as required. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including bricklayers, carpenters, and welders, to complete projects efficiently. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on site.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering tasks. Knowledge of masonry techniques is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure. A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites.
