Location:

CIL House, Charlton Road, Andover, SP10 3JL

Working schedule:

4 day week! Monday - Thursday 1pm - 11pm (initial training will be carried out on days: Monday-Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 Friday 08:30 - 15:30)

Salary:

29,291.00 (after successful completion of training & moved to twilight shift)

Purpose of the role

We are seeking hard-working and motivated individuals to join our dynamic Surface Mount team at CIL. The position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent team-work and the ability to handle various tools and equipment.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly of electronic components using modern Surface Mount Technology, contributing to the overall production process within our manufacturing environment.

Whilst Surface Mount experience is very beneficial, we are keen to hear from people who have transferable machine operating or production experience within Electronics Manufacturing or similar.

Key duties & responsibilities:

Operate and maintain SMT machinery to ensure efficient production processes Assemble electronic components with precision, whilst adhering to quality standards Utilise fine hand tools and microscopes for the assembly of products Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines Inspection of products to appropriate standards, ensuring all work is carried out in a timely and accurate manner Report any problems with products or processes to the SMT supervisor Adhere to the Health and Safety requirements and regulations Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following safety protocols

The ideal person will demonstrate the following:

Experience in a manufacturing/production environment Strong attention to detail Ability to work well in a team & follow instructions Surface mount experience is desirable Previous use of hand tools, microscopes or machinery would be advantageous Experience working in Electronics or an industry qualification is beneficial
