Role Summary
----------------
This critical leadership role is responsible for ensuring the safe, airworthy, and reliable delivery of aircraft for our clients' flying programme. You will manage a team of highly skilled engineers, drive performance and maintain the highest standards of safety and maintenance in line with regulatory requirements. Help ensure the safety and reliability of critical helicopter operations by leading a skilled engineering team committed to excellence. This position is split between our two bases and can be based in either Humberside or Norwich, with travel required between both locations.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with UK CAA Part 145 requirements, CHC UK Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), company procedures and policies, including COSHH and the Health & Safety at Work Act.
Maintain and enforce the highest safety and maintenance standards in all base maintenance activities.
Monitor the effectiveness of maintenance activities through compliance reviews, safety case monitoring, and targeted field inspections (including bow tie analysis as applicable).
Coach, mentor, and support the engineering team to promote performance, development, and operational effectiveness.
Continually review and improve current maintenance practices to enhance efficiency.
Develop and manage effective shift rosters in line with staff agreements to meet programme requirements.
Recommend and maintain records of training to improve team capability and operational efficiency.
Ensure CHC Scotia aircraft are maintained to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Collaborate with the Planning department to ensure maintenance plans and projects are delivered effectively, considering manpower availability and skill sets.
Plus any other duties assigned.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Licensed Aircraft Engineer and previous supervisory/management experience
Proven experience in a similar leadership role within maintenance operations.
UK Part 145 experience and training.
Sound working knowledge of EASA and UK CAA Part 145 regulations.
Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Solid technical knowledge of maintenance best practices and execution standards.
Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver departmental targets and meet deadlines.
Experience in helicopter operations, particularly in the oil & gas sector (preferred).
* Working knowledge of AMOS Maintenance Systems (preferred).
