Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional experience for members and guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality particular bar service, and the ability to manage a team. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating events, maintaining high standards of bar and food safety and service, and fostering a welcoming environment within the club. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, implementing club policies, and driving member satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily club operations, including hands on bar work, food preparation, serving, and general hospitality services Manage and supervise staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations Supervise food production activities ensuring quality standards are met Lead the team to promote a positive work environment and high levels of staff engagement Ensure compliance with food and drink regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas Organise events and activities to enhance member experience and engagement Monitor stock levels and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of supplies Handle member enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure satisfaction Maintain health and safety protocols within the club premises

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a hospitality or bar environment Strong background in a bar with food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management Experience in a bar or social club settings is highly desirable Knowledge of food and drink safety standards and food production processes
