The Role





Working with Visa's Brand, Content & Experience Team, Europe, the Social Content Creator will be part of creating and developing an always-on social capability to reinvigorate Visa's presence on social platforms. You will develop content at the intersection of commerce and culture, and further innovate and guide how Visa engages with key communities. This role will support the EU Digital Content Manager, to define and build content capabilities in support of driving more effective and efficient marketing practices and impact business goals for the region.



In this role, you will support the creative development of social content as the Social Content Creator for EU creating original content for all Visa's social platforms that is highly shareable and engaging, whilst maintaining a consistent approach to creativity with internal and external partners that supports brand and business objectives.



You will be passionate about building effective communications, leveraging technology and have the ability to think through problem-solving with the use of data, technology, process and people. You will enable Visa to be more creative, nimble, and community driven so that we can engage with our Gen Z audiences.

Responsibilities




Support to develop and execute the social content strategy for the brand. Concept and develop short form social content for use across Visa's priority B2C platforms and channels, a mix of campaign, always on, internal and publisher content. A social content creator well versed in producing self-shot, edited content using mobile apps or editing software. A social content creator that can capture engaging BTS, events, interview style content with a small production crew as well as on an iPhone with adequate equipment. You can concept, craft and bring to life stories on social, that resonate in culture and communities. A highly organized content marketer with strong project management skills. Collaborate with social agencies and other publishing partners with the ability to guide through creative vision and feedback. Work cross-functionally and across Visa's regions and markets to scale winning content. Produce engaging content by leaning into audience insights, cultural trends and opportunities to clearly articulate Visa's brand positioning and voice and align with its marketing objectives. Partner with measurement to optimize and scale content based on engagement and performance metrics. Execute always on social content connected to global campaigns, including real-time sponsorship activation during and at events. You will be required to coordinate multiple workstreams and distribution of content between our Global Brand team, Local EU Markets and Sponsorships to ensure timely, effective, and successful delivery. This role requires curious self-starter, who loves social content, is ideas driven, passionate marketer with strong organisation and communication skills across different geographies and time-zones. Act as a champion of social content that is rooted in innovation and collaboration via a test and learn model.

Skills & Requirements




2+ years' experience in creative roles on the agency and/or brand side, creating digital and social content and collaborating with agency partners on production. Passionate about social trends and platforms. Knowledgeable of trends and hacks for engaging scroll stopping content on social. Must have a solid understanding of native content that connects with Gen Z audience per platform. You have deep understanding of the creative and production process, from short-form to long-form content. You can partner with social creators and talent, work with influencer content as a key part of Visa's content strategy. Bring fresh creative ideas to increase engagement in established and emerging social platforms. You have a bias for action, not bureaucracy, and are able to act nimbly and quickly while rallying cross-functional teams. An organized, independent, and deadline-driven individual with preferred experience in a social-first content team. Enjoy building relationships with international teams, ability to liaise and collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills.
