About The Role

As a social-first brand, you will be responsible for ensuring ASOS\'s social output is best in class. You will focus on creating captivating and on-brand content that resonates with 20 somethings, drives engagement, and increases brand awareness at scale. The successful candidate will be creative, strategic, and possess a deep understanding of social media platforms as well as being fully immersed in youth culture and digital trends.

Reporting into the Head of Social, PR and Talent, you will manage a global team and budget and will need to work closely and confidently with multiple teams. You will need to be commercially orientated and have a proven track record of clearly demonstrating social impact on business objectives.

  • Develop and implement the overall social media content strategy, ensuring alignment with ASOS brand guidelines and business objectives.
  • Create engaging and impactful, fame driving social media campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Work with the creative team and oversee the production of high-quality and visually appealing social media content for both campaigns and BAU content.
  • Be at the forefront of the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to drive a social -first culture within the business and maximise the impact of ASOS\' social content.
  • Be fully immersed in understanding what Gen Z are talking about on social and how to create content they engage with
  • Lead the social content team, providing guidance, support, and ongoing development to optimize team performance.
  • Work with the Senior Social Strategy and Insights Manager to monitor and analyse social media performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven changes to the output of our channels.
  • Work closely with creators and brand ambassadors to create mutually beneficial partnerships and collaborations via our PR and Talent team.
  • Ensure all social media content adheres to legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Continuously monitor and suggest solutions for content at scale ensuring it exceeds performance metrics.
  • Manage budgets, targets and channel execution to hit internal customer, category and brand goals e.g. new customer growth, existing customer acquisition, category and brand sell through.
  • Oversee the process between social and Customer Care to ensure that all social mentions of ASOS are reviewed and responded to as appropriate. Ensuring SLAs set are appropriate and met, and that tone and content is on-brand and customer-centric.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, such as the marketing and creative teams, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all channels.
  • Contribute and align to a centralised integrated marketing calendar, including all relevant commercial priorities.
  • Consult and develop bespoke social media strategies for all major launches - owned campaigns and brand launches.
  • Work with the AMG team to identify opportunities with strategic brand partners to create original/ exclusive content and improve process and budget efficiencies.
  • Alongside the Head of, manage and own platform relationships (Facebook, YouTube etc), ensuring we are the go-to partners for innovation. This may at times include leading on joint business plans with the platform partners.
  • Manage and work with agency partners to create an agile operating model and leverage their experience and expertise to push in-house boundaries.
  • Be the key point person on all social, representing marketing at a senior level within the business.
  • \xc2\xb7 Line management of direct reports including development and training.
Qualifications

Who We\'d Like to Meet
  • Worked in data orientated organisations and able to confidently communicate customer and channel data at an executive level.
  • Strong editorial sensibilities, from setting tone to having great taste when it comes to ensuring content is on tone, highly engaging and aligned to our strategy.
  • Experience in fashion editorial / content creation
  • High degree of personal and professional familiarity with all social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube etc.
  • Strong understanding of social marketing strategies with relevant experience helping to define and build brands on social at scale
  • Held similar positions and managed large social/content teams for the most innovative brands or news organisations.
  • Experience working with large scale content, budgets, and ability to work efficiently and effectively with them.
