What does a Social Marketing and Content Executive do at One Retail Group?



There is rarely a typical day. Given our rapid expansion, there are constantly new challenges to overcome.

You will be working closely with a diverse, enthusiastic and talented group of people as part of our growing Marketing Team. This role focuses on managing social channels that directly drive revenue and growth. It's a dynamic, hands-on position that blends creativity with performance-led thinking.

Responsibilities



Highly motivated, self-starter with a good interest in social media. A strong commercial mind that sees how social marketing can be used to increase ecommerce trade. Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok (including TikTok Shop). Experience working with Meta Ads and TikTok Ads. Highly organised with good time management skills as the role requires managing a large variety of tasks. Some experience in managing/mentoring people, or the attributes and desire to become a good manager. Experience in creating video content is a plus, but not essential. The desire to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Our ideal candidate would be someone who...



Working with our Social Marketing Specialist and the rest of the Digital Marketing Team to build and shape marketing strategies for the different brands. Manage and optimise Meta ads, supporting day-to-day campaign execution and performance tracking. Source, brief, and manage UGC creators to produce content aligned with campaign goals. Test and evaluate content regularly to identify what performs best across platforms. Schedule and publish organic social posts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. Request creative assets and coordinate with the wider team to ensure a steady flow of testable content. Use existing reports and data to spot trends, inform decisions, and identify growth opportunities. Support influencer and content campaigns aimed at increasing engagement, brand visibility, and driving sales. Stay up to date with platform changes, trends, and best practices in social media and performance marketing.
