We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media and Communications Manager to provide communications for established non-profit membership organisations working in mental health/wellbeing issues such as talking therapies.
We're looking for an enthusiastic communications manager who can play a key role in social media, internal and external mass communication, website content management, blogs, magazines and emails.
The key requirements and responsibilities of this exciting and varied role are:
A high level of written and spoken communication skills
Excellent level of proofreading
An ability to multitask and work on a number of projects at once
The ability to Manage various social media pages for multiple organisations
Creating engaging content, including text posts, video, and images
Previous experience managing campaigns and email communications through email software e.g. Mailchimp
Keeping track of and reporting on data and analysing the performance of social media campaigns
The ability to schedule social media posts to planned schedules
Ability to lead a successful communication team
Collaborating with colleagues on projects
Being able to interact with members of a professional organisation
Managing external advertising in publications
High level of skill in writing engaging and copy
Bringing creativity, fresh ideas, and input to your role
The ability to prioritise and be responsive, e.g. responding to a breaking news story
Reporting on activities during team meetings
Interacting with members of teh organisation, the public and dealing with customers' enquiries
Desirable but not required
Experience in website content management
Knowledge of SEO
Experience in website traffic monitoring/ Google analytics
Details:
Full time, permanent position Monday - Friday with Fridays finishing at 3pm. Hours can be flexible on start/finish subject to negotiation.
This is a hybrid role. Attendance will be required at our central Exeter office up to two days per week, with the rest of the role being home based.
