We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our social media presence, developing engaging content, and enhancing our brand's visibility across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social media management and public relations, with the ability to connect with our audience and foster community engagement.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across social media platforms. Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities to engage with followers. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns. Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly. Respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, fostering positive interactions with our audience. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.

Experience

Proven experience in social media management or a related field is essential. Strong knowledge of public relations practices and principles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with analytics tools to track performance metrics. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content creation.

The hours/days would be slightly flexible to suit the right person

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 22,880.00-30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
