Job Overview


We're seeking an experienced and ambitious Social Media Content Creator to join our established marketing team in the West Midlands. If you excel at crafting engaging, diverse content and have a proven record in developing assets for organic and paid social campaigns, this role is for you.

You will be responsible for content creation across both iMeta's funded and commercial offerings, ensuring messaging and performance reporting meet the needs of both parts of the business.

In this role, staying ahead of trends and crafting content that stops the scroll is essential. You'll create content across platforms, utilising photography, graphic design and video assets, while optimising for trends and algorithms. Equally important, you'll monitor and report back on content performance, turning data and insights into clear recommendations for optimisation and growth.

You'll own the content creation process from start to finish, ensuring every piece aligns with the brand's voice and achieves our marketing objectives.

While this role is primarily focused on social media content, we would also value candidates who bring wider experience in Paid Social or long-form content development. Key Responsibilities:



? Drive the growth and daily execution of content across the iMeta brand by creating engaging content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

? Produce and edit high-quality video and image content that aligns with brand guidelines and strengthens social media campaigns.

? Contribute to the overall marketing strategy by identifying and advocating for new social approaches and content types that align with company goals.

? Work alongside a paid media specialist who is responsible for paid campaign strategy and execution, ensuring that the content you create supports and enhances paid activity.

? Develop and manage content calendars for organic content, ensuring timely and consistent execution.

? Lead social media coverage at events, capturing high-quality video and images that effectively showcase our brands.

? Capture and produce compelling video testimonials and case studies highlighting our customer and client success stories.

? Grow and manage social media communities by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and maintaining a consistent brand voice.

? Work closely with stakeholders across departments to ensure that content aligns with brand goals, tone of voice and organisational needs.

? Monitor, analyse, and report on the performance of content and campaigns, providing regular insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:



? Three plus years of experience in organic and paid social media content creation, with a proven track record in a similar role.

? Strong campaign expertise, with demonstrated responsibility for planning and creating content for both organic and paid campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.

? Proficient in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social or similar platforms for scheduling, monitoring and analysing content.

? Confident in using a phone camera and photography equipment to capture high-quality video and image outputs that are suitable for social media use.

? Video production and editing skills, with proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro and hands-on experience producing high-quality video content.

? Skilled in Canva or other graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud to create visually appealing content that aligns with brand standards.

? Strong social copywriting ability and be confident in writing compelling, brand-aligned copy for social media

? Excellent project management skills and highly organised with attention to detail and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

? Confident in performance and data analysis, monitoring, analysing, and clearly reporting back on campaign performance, using insights to refine and improve results continually.

Desirable



? A degree or CIM qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.

? Experience in the training, education or professional development sectors.

? Ability to write long-form website content such as service pages, insight articles or blog posts.

? Ability to write email content, including nurture campaigns and customer communications.

? Experience with running paid social campaigns

This does not need to be face-to-camera unless you want it to be. You have complete creative freedom. It could be a mix of clips, captions, motion graphics, or voice-over. What matters most is that it demonstrates your ability to produce engaging, professional-quality social content.
