Overview


We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of public relations and social media management, with the ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target demographic.

Responsibilities



Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) that aligns with our brand voice and objectives. Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities. Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly. Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, fostering a positive community around our brand. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media, public relations, and digital marketing.

Social Media



Social Media & Content Creation

Plan, shoot, edit, and publish engaging video content (short-form and long-form) for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content (posts, reels, stories, graphics, short videos, etc.) across multiple platforms. Create and schedule posts, stories, reels, and graphics to maintain a consistent brand presence. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and community interactions. Stay updated on platform trends, video formats, and creative strategies to keep content innovative and relevant. Support influencer collaborations and user-generated content initiatives.

Marketing Support



Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns, events, and promotions. Help prepare marketing materials (presentations, flyers, newsletters, email campaigns). Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis. Track campaign performance and compile reports with insights and recommendations. Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including maintaining calendars, databases, and content libraries.

Experience



Proven experience in social media management or public relations is essential. Strong understanding of various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity in content creation. Ability to analyse data and derive actionable insights from performance metrics. Experience with graphic design tools or video editing software is an advantage but not mandatory. 1-2 years of experience in social media, content creation, or marketing (internship or professional). Strong skills in

video production and editing

(e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects). A passion for storytelling and connecting with audiences through digital channels. Pay: 18,000.00-25,000.00 per year
