As we bring our social media in-house, we're building a small, focused team to help tell Wahaca's story in a way that feels true to who we are - bold, engaging, and full of flavour, both in tone and in spirit.

About The Role

As Social Content Producer, you'll be responsible for creating compelling content that engages audiences across TikTok, Instagram, and other key platforms. From filming and editing to repurposing and publishing, you will ensure that our content is scroll-stopping, engaging and consistent. You'll have creative freedom and the opportunity to shape Wahaca's social identity as part of our new in-house team. You will work closely with the Social Media Executive to align content with the wider marketing calendar, campaign activity, and business objectives.



This role is perfect for someone with at least 2 years experience in content production or social video, who thrives in fast?moving environments and feels confident both running solo shoots and collaborating with wider teams. We're also open to considering a part?time, pro?rata arrangement for a content creator with a strong personal following or experience producing standout social content for other notable brands.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Content Creation & Production

Capture and produce high?quality video and photo content for social (TikToks, Reels, Stories, static posts).

Edit content using relevant tools (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva) and deliver across formats on time.

Repurpose and adapt content for different platforms and formats as needed.

Maintain and organise a well?managed, searchable content library.

Ensure all output aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and quality.

On?Site Coverage & Collaboration

Attend shoots and activations across Wahaca restaurants and events to document key moments.

Capture and edit content for our co?founder's personal channels.

Collaborate closely with our co?founder to spot and develop opportunities to grow her social presence and influence.

Coordinate with internal teams (GMs, chefs, front of house, events, ops) to plan and execute shoot logistics.

Planning, Trends & Campaign Support

Contribute to campaign planning and content ideation sessions.

Monitor trends and storytelling formats within food, hospitality and lifestyle categories.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 2 years' experience in a content production or social media role (brand, agency, freelance). Strong visual storytelling skills and a solid understanding of what performs well on TikTok and Instagram. Proficiency in video capture and editing tools - both mobile-first and desktop. Confident presenting to camera and appearing in content. Able to work independently on shoots and managing production logistics. Ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromising quality. Strong sense of visual identity, composition and attention to detail. Enthusiastic about working in restaurants, attending events, and capturing BTS moments. Trend responsiveness and idea generation. Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills. A passion for food, hospitality and authentic brand storytelling.
