Job Overview

We're looking for a fun, creative, and organised Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator, with a keen interest in technology, for this office-based role in our current team of 30.

We expect you to establish and develop a social media strategy to enhance our online presence by pro-actively coordinating, cooperating and liaising with all staff as well as visiting customer sites to collate content.

If you're obsessed with TikTok trends, have an eye for clean, aesthetic, design and know how to create and edit scroll-stopping content, this could be the role for you! Duties

Strategy

: gather information on the products and services we currently offer to create a Social Media strategy in collaboration with the directors

Copywriting

: pro-actively coordinating, cooperating and liaising with all staff on current and recently completed projects to create engaging posts that tell our business story

Photo and video creation

: Capture staff, projects, site-progress, corporate days and other company relevant situations to bring a more personal, informal and fun side to our online presence

Design

: present your copywriting and graphical work in engaging and modern reels and posts that stand out on our feeds

Research and trend-spotting

: Tease our followers with what's in the pipeline for Avita and in the wider tech industry

Business Development

: assist our BDM with the online side of our marketing campaigns

Monitoring

: tracking social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly and professionally and analyse social media metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and identify areas for optimisation

Keep Ahead

: Stay informed about the latest trends in social media management and public relations to keep content fresh and relevant

Resolution

: Manage online reputation by addressing any negative feedback or reviews constructively

What we're looking for:

Someone fun and energetic, with a genuine love and enthusiasm for everything online and technology Good working knowledge of the major online platforms - TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, including SEO and trends Creativity with a great eye for aesthetics, clean design, and attention to detail Expertise using photo and video editing software to create and edit content Good organisational skills and motivation to meet deadlines and manage recurring tasks such as online posts Excellent written and verbal communication skills in British English A proactive attitude with a passion for engaging audiences online Someone local who can commute easily to our Beckenham office and London sites
