About the role
The purpose of the role is to drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation through strategic social media activity and high-quality content tailored to our customers whilst attracting new customers to Pilgrim Foodservice.
The
Social Media &Content Executive
will manage social channels, create compelling content that resonates with chefs, caterers, and foodservice operators, and support the broader marketing strategy to position the brand as a market leader.
Working cross functionally, the role requires creativity and flair whilst remaining inside our brand guidelines
What you will be doing:
Social Media Management, managing day to day activity, planning, scheduling and more
Content Creation including department campaigns and events
Ensure all social and content output reflects the brand tone of voice, positioning, and values
Stay informed of competitor activity, foodservice trends, and digital best practices
All we ask is that you have:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a social media / digital marketing environment
Passionate for service by putting Customers at the heart of what we do
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate technical or culinary detail into engaging content
Proficiency with social media platforms and scheduling tools
Experience of utilising paid adverts
Familiarity with design tools and an ability to brief external design teams
Experience in Graphic Design.
Desirable working knowledge of SEO
Desirable video editing and production process skills
A can-do attitude and flexible approach with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
