This would be an ideal role for someone who has a passion for social media, is a creative thinker and is a strong communicator with a good eye for detail.

This role plays a central part in the delivery of iQ's Social Media strategy to differentiate itself through quality brand engagement and brilliant customer service.

As the iQ champion in social media, the role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the social media strategy and managing the effective day-to-day running and performance measurement of this area.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage the iQ Student Accommodation social media presence across multiple platforms (including but not limited to TikTok, Meta, X, YouTube, Weibo, WeChat) Creating engaging and relevant social media content for all social channels, including a calendar for each channel Manage content accessibility and sharing both internally and externally Lead community management across iQ site teams, providing support and best practice on how they can make the most of their local social media groups Work closely with the Copy and Content Manager to develop and manage influencer and advocacy programs Work closely with external agencies to produce social content and reporting - both weekly, monthly and quarterly Regularly report insights gained Be the point of contact for our Chinese Social Media agency, to ensure content is aligned and support with content creation specific for these channels Manage all customer focused enquiries received through social channels in a timely manner, liaising with the site where necessary - being the champion of good social customer service Monitor and manage response to online reviews Provide social media support to the wider MarComms team Collaborate with the digital team on social paid for activity ensuring content and strategic Keep up to date with emerging platforms and social media trends alignment as well as an efficient ROI Support the wider marketing team with social media support at housing fairs, open days and other events as required

Skills and Experience:




A passion for social media and online marketing An ability to create interesting and engaging content A knowledge of writing for web and SEO best practice Ability to deduce actionable insights from results and trends and apply learnings to drive success for the business Ability to proofread marketing material with excellent attention to detail The ability to manage multiple projects and deal with ever changing priorities Excellent communication skills Proactive and innovative thinker
