The role:
We're looking for a talented social media marketer, with a passion for creative storytelling that grows brand presence within the food and drink industry. This role is more than just creating and posting content, it's about being proactive, forward thinking and 100% being responsive to our audience and influencers.
With a focus on growing our brand across TikTok, you'll also maintain our current IG presence and look for other opportunities to keep us head of the trend. You're equally comfortable working independently as working under the direction of the general manager in a busy restaurant environment - this is not your average 9-5 office job!
Your main duties and responsibilities:
Design and execute platform-specific social media strategies for TikTok and Instagram (and other channels as needed) to increase followers and drive engagement with our target audiences.
Own the social media calendar, campaigns and competitions
Proactively create and publish original, high-quality, engaging digital content for regularly scheduled posts using a variety of formats, from static and animated images to carousels and short-form videos
Oversee the day-to-day management of all social media accounts, responding to any feedback and comments in a timely manner
Research and analyse social trends and data, including social media advertising revenue and web visitor data
Monitor and provide feedback to management on competitor activity within the social media space
Be responsible for liaising with social media influencers and agents as required
Work collaboratively and considerately alongside other team members, to generate content from the businesses without disruption to the day to day operations
Skills and experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
Extensive knowledge of web, social media platforms and design tools
Knowledge and experience of video production and editing
Excellent photography skills including editing and artwork creation
Strong interpersonal skill with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Self-motivated and proactive with a flexible approach to hours of work
Confident communicator with excellent spoken and written English
Good understanding of GDPR requirements in relation to filming and photography
A passion for food and drink
