The Langham, London; Europe's first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5rated property, is currently recruiting for a Social Media Executive to join our talented Sales and Marketing team.We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.

In the role of a Social Media Executive, your key focus will be to:

Build positive brand awareness of The Langham, London and its standalone outlets by developing a proactive social media communications plan across the range of platforms. Create differentiated content calendars and capture creative and engaging assets to engage audiences and support commercial objectives. Develop our influencer management strategy, building relevant relationships for the different offerings within the hotel. Proactively manage our growing communities and respond to any adverse comments promptly, maintaining the positive online reputation of The Langham, London. Keep abreast of changes within the social media landscape particularly within the luxury industries, filtering and applying knowledge to ensure that our approach is always up to date, as well as in line with brand values .

Do you have? -

Excellent photography and videography skills (experience with a DSLR is crucial). Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with experience in graphic design (Canva, Adobe Suite) and video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro). In-depth knowledge of the different social media platforms and up to date knowledge of industry trends/changes to the algorithm. Solid understanding of influencer marketing - able to identify, evaluate (based on various metrics) and collaborate with influencers across various tiers (nano to macro) to drive brand awareness and engagement. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high attention to detail. Keen eye for Analytics and a test-and-learn approach utilising social media listening tools (Brandwatch, Mention). Previous social media experience within hospitality or luxury goods and services environment is preferred but not imperative An accredited academic qualification related to Social Media Marketing (marketing, communications, PR) Passion for Luxury Travel
