We are seeking a creative Social Media Executive, with expertise in hospitality social media, particularly Instagram, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with our team to manage our social media presence, develop engaging content, and enhance our brand's visibility across various platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of social media management, to effectively communicate our message and connect with our audience.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive Instagram strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Create, curate, and manage published Instagram content (images, video, written).
Monitor multiple Instagram channels for trends, guest feedback, and engagement opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing objectives.
Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
Engage with Instagram followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
Requirements
Experience managing social media for hospitality/F&B brands
Strong knowledge of Instagram
Experience using scheduling platforms like Later or similar
Strong copywriting skills
Experience in community management, including responding to comments and messages, and adapting to different TOV
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ability to handle last-minute requests
Ability to analyse social media performance
Content creation skills
Passion for food, drinks, and dining culture (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to create visually appealing content using design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions based on insights.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
