Overview:

Trent Lock Golf & Country Club is looking for a creative and motivated Part-Time Social Media Assistant to help elevate our online presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content for our social media channels, including videos, interviews, reviews, photos, and graphics. With a keen eye for design and proficiency in content creation apps such as Photoshop, you'll help showcase the unique experience we offer our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and produce visually appealing and engaging content for Trent Lock Golf & Country Club's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).

- Create and edit videos, photos, graphics, and promotional materials to highlight events, activities, and club facilities.

- Conduct interviews with staff, members, and guests to create compelling content (e.g., testimonials, behind-the-scenes stories).

- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.

- Work closely with the marketing team to align content with upcoming events, promotions, and brand messaging.

- Monitor and engage with followers on social media platforms, responding to inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner.

- Assist in planning and scheduling posts, ensuring a consistent flow of content across all channels.

- Help analyse social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

Requirements:

- Strong creative skills with an eye for design and detail.

- Proficiency in content creation tools like Photoshop, Canva, and video editing software.

- Previous experience in social media content creation, photography, and/or videography is preferred.

- Ability to produce high-quality content independently while meeting deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Passion for social media and staying current with trends and emerging platforms.

- Knowledge of golf, country clubs, or hospitality industries is a bonus, but not essential.
