We are seeking a creative, organised, and results-driven Social Media Manager and Content Creator to grow our brand across multiple platforms. This role combines the strategic management of social media accounts with hands-on content creation, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
The ideal candidate is passionate about social media trends, skilled at creating engaging content, and capable of managing campaigns from planning to execution while building community engagement and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy and Planning
Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with business goals.
Plan and maintain a content calendar for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Research trends, hashtags, challenges, and viral content ideas relevant to the brand and audience.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media campaigns align with wider marketing objectives.
Content Creation
Produce high-quality, engaging content including videos, graphics, images, Reels, TikToks, and Stories.
Write compelling captions, posts, and scripts that resonate with the target audience.
Design promotional materials such as digital graphics, banners, and simple marketing assets.
Edit video and photo content to maintain professional quality and brand consistency.
Community Management
Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor and grow the social media community across all platforms.
Encourage user-generated content and participation in challenges or promotions.
Advertising and Analytics
Support the creation and management of paid social media campaigns on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
Track, measure, and report performance metrics including engagement, reach, conversions, and follower growth.
Use analytics to adjust content strategies and posting schedules for maximum impact.
Collaboration and Brand Support
Ensure brand voice, tone, and visual style remain consistent across all social media channels.
Collaborate with other teams to support marketing campaigns, events, or promotions.
Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging tools to keep the brand relevant.
Requirements
Proven experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
Proficiency with design and editing tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar).
Basic video editing skills and familiarity with short-form video content.
Knowledge of social media trends, best practices, and audience engagement strategies.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign management.
Familiarity with SEO principles and website content management.
Photography or videography experience.
Ability to analyse insights and recommend data-driven improvements.
