Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and creative Social Media Manager to own and grow our brand's presence across all major social platforms. This role is responsible for developing high-impact content, managing day-to-day social activity, and building a trusted, engaged community within the highly regulated dietary food supplements category.
The successful candidate will balance creativity, performance, and compliance, ensuring content is engaging, on-trend, and commercially effective while adhering to advertising and platform regulations. This is a key role in shaping our brand voice, reputation, and social-driven growth across e-commerce channels.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand, growth, and e-commerce objectives
Own and manage all major platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging social channels
Plan, create, curate, and schedule high-quality content across short-form video, static, stories, and live formats
Content, Community & Engagement
Create engaging, on-brand content that educates, inspires, and converts within the dietary supplements space
Actively monitor comments, messages, and mentions; respond promptly to foster trust and community engagement
Build positive relationships with followers while maintaining brand credibility and accuracy
Compliance & Brand Safety (Supplements)
Ensure all social content complies with advertising standards, platform policies, and regulations relevant to dietary food supplements
Work closely with internal stakeholders to manage claims, testimonials, and disclaimers appropriately
Manage online reputation, addressing negative feedback or sensitive issues professionally and promptly
Performance & Optimisation
Track and analyse social performance metrics to optimise reach, engagement, and conversion
Use insights to inform content planning, creative testing, and continuous improvement
Stay informed on social trends, tools, and platform updates to keep the brand competitive and relevant
Collaboration
Collaborate with marketing, PR, e-commerce, and customer support teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels
Support campaign launches, promotions, and product releases through social activity
Experience & SkillsEssential
Minimum 3 years experience in social media or digital marketing
Proven experience managing Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok for a brand or organisation
Strong understanding of social media best practices within regulated or high-scrutiny categories
Demonstrated ability to create compelling, audience-focused content
Experience using social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
Desirable
Experience in supplements, wellness, nutrition, or health-related e-commerce
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and native platform insights
Understanding of community management, brand reputation, and crisis response
