Charlie's Desserts is seeking a dynamic, creative, and trend-driven Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing engaging content across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. This role requires someone who is confident, understands the latest trends, and knows how to make dessert content crave-worthy. You'll be the voice and visual storyteller of Charlie's Desserts, bringing our brand to life online and growing our community daily.

Duties

Develop and execute a consistent social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook to increase engagement and grow our audience Create, film, edit, and post high-quality content (Reels, TikToks, photos, Stories) that showcases our desserts and in-store experience Post 3x daily and manage Stories at the same times each day to build consistency and visibility Stay on top of viral trends, sounds, and social media challenges, integrating them creatively into our content Involve staff in content creation to add personality and fun to our social presence Monitor social media channels, engage with our audience, and respond to messages and comments in a timely, brand-appropriate way Analyse content performance and adjust strategy to improve reach and engagement Collaborate with management to ensure content aligns with marketing goals and seasonal promotions Organise and maintain a content calendar to keep all platforms active and aligned
Skills

Proven experience in social media management and content creation, with a portfolio or examples of previous work Excellent understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends, features, and best practices Strong photo and video editing skills (using apps like CapCut, InShot, Canva, etc.) Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both visually and verbally Comfortable in being able to direct others in content creation Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and use insights to optimize content Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently while managing multiple deadlines Bonus: Experience working in the food or hospitality industry
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 10.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
