Social Media Manager & Content Creator

Location:

Hybrid: Content would need to be filmed in house (salon & office based in Surbiton, Surrey) but we are flexible on working from home on occasion

Hours:

24-30 hours per week (flexible schedule)

Salary:

Salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skills relevant to the role. Additional commission opportunities are available for the successful candidate, based on social media engagement and view performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a weekly content calendar for TikTok and Instagram (Reels, Stories, Posts) Film content in our salon/office and edit, and repurpose video content Stay on top of trends, audio, hashtags, and platform updates to keep our content fresh Write engaging captions that drive clicks, comments, and shares Manage engagement (responding to DMs, comments, story replies) Track content performance weekly and make recommendations to optimize reach & engagement Collaborate with the founder/team on campaign ideas, product launches, and marketing strategies

Requirements

1-3+ years of experience in social media management/content creation Proven experience growing and managing accounts Strong video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, or similar) Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram culture, trends, and audience behavior A strong initiative, with the ability to come up with new ideas Strong time management A portfolio or examples of recent content (TikToks, Reels, etc.)
We're ideally looking for someone to

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
