Social Media Manager - Gilchrist Collection

Are you a creative powerhouse with a passion for storytelling, weddings, and social media strategy? The Gilchrist Collection is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead and elevate the digital presence of our 12 stunning wedding and events venues across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and beyond.

Location: Gilchrist Head Office (some travel to venues required)

Hours: Full-time

Reports to: Head of Marketing

What You'll Do:

As our Social Media Manager, you'll take the reins of our multi-venue social media landscape, bringing fresh, engaging content to life across all platforms. Your work will directly inspire couples and followers alike.

Lead Social Strategy: Develop, execute, and oversee the overall social media strategy across 12 unique venues, ensuring alignment with brand and campaign goals. Campaign Planning: Work closely with the Head of Marketing to deliver campaigns that drive engagement, awareness, and bookings. Content Direction: Guide and oversee content creation on-site at venues - from trending TikToks to beautifully styled Instagram Reels - ensuring quality and consistency. Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and content innovations to keep our channels fresh and relevant. Community Engagement: Manage social interactions across platforms, building meaningful relationships with followers and partners. Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics and deliver insights to refine strategy and demonstrate ROI.

What We're Looking For:

A creative, innovative thinker with a deep understanding and experience in social media platforms - especially Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. A passion for weddings and events, with an eye for aesthetics and storytelling. Experience managing multi-brand or multi-account social media. Confidence to lead and direct on-site content creation at our venues, working with videographers, photographers, and venue teams. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with our in-house team and external partners. Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities. Ability to manage content creator effectively. Ability to work towards and achieve project deadlines.
