Overview

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of public relations and social media management, as well as the ability to analyse performance metrics and adapt strategies accordingly.

Duties

Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand visibility and engagement. Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) that aligns with the brand's voice and goals. Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all marketing channels. Analyse social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.

Qualifications

Proven experience in public relations or social media management is essential. Strong understanding of various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Proficiency in using analytics tools to track performance metrics and derive actionable insights. Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for engaging content. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
