We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join agency and elevate the social media presence of our prestigious fashion, beauty/cosmetics, and lifestyle clients.
The ideal candidate will be creative with a passion for premium brands and the ability to create compelling content that drives engagement and builds communities. This role requires exceptional creativity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts while maintaining the highest standards of brand representation.
The Social Media Manager will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute innovative social media strategies that resonate with target audiences and deliver measurable results for our clients.
Duties
Strategy and Planning:
Develop comprehensive social media strategies for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle clients, including defining goals, target audiences, and content themes that align with brand positioning.
Create detailed content calendars for multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest) ensuring consistent and engaging content flow across all client accounts.
Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote product launches, seasonal collections, events, and brand initiatives with measurable objectives.
Stay current with the latest social media trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to ensure strategies remain innovative and effective.
Content Creation and Management:
Create visually stunning and engaging content including graphics, videos, stories, and reels using design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and mobile editing apps.
Write compelling, on-brand copy and captions that capture each client's unique voice while driving engagement and conversions.
Manage and maintain consistent brand presence across all social media channels, ensuring all content aligns with established brand guidelines and quality standards.
Repurpose and optimize existing content across different platforms and formats to maximize reach and engagement while maintaining freshness.
Engagement and Community Management:
Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions across all platforms in a timely, professional, and brand-appropriate manner.
Build and nurture engaged online communities by encouraging interaction, facilitating conversations, and creating meaningful connections between brands and their audiences.
Conduct social listening activities to monitor brand mentions, industry conversations, and competitor activities, identifying opportunities and addressing potential issues proactively.
Analysis and Reporting:
Track and analyse key performance metrics including engagement rates, reach, impressions, follower growth, and conversion metrics using platform analytics and third-party tools.
Identify patterns, trends, and insights from social media data to inform future content strategies and optimize campaign performance.
Prepare comprehensive monthly reports for clients and internal stakeholders, presenting performance summaries and strategic recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure social media efforts align with overall marketing strategies and campaign objectives.
Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to produce high-quality visual content that meets client expectations.
Coordinate influencer partnerships and collaborations, including outreach, negotiation, and campaign management to expand brand reach and engagement.
Present social media strategies and performance reports to clients with confidence and professionalism.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role with 2-4 years of experience, preferably working with fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
Demonstrated expertise across major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, with deep understanding of each platform's unique features and best practices.
Proficiency in content creation tools including Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and mobile editing applications for creating engaging visual content.
Strong copywriting skills with ability to adapt tone and style to different brand voices and target audiences.
Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, zoho zocial) and analytics platforms for scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
Excellent understanding of social media advertising including Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, and TikTok Ads with experience in campaign setup and optimisation.
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret social media metrics and translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
Creative mindset with keen eye for visual aesthetics, particularly within premium market segments and luxury brand environments.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to clients and stakeholders.
Knowledge of influencer marketing strategies and experience managing influencer partnerships and collaborations.
Understanding of SEO principles and how social media contributes to overall digital marketing objectives.
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred but not essential with relevant experience.
Portfolio demonstrating successful social media campaigns and content creation across different industries and platforms.
