We're looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our organic social media presence across all platforms. This role will be responsible for developing and executing social media plans that grow brand awareness, engagement, and reach - working closely with the wider marketing teams to ensure alignment with broader brand campaigns and messaging.
You'll manage the day-to-day running of our social channels, oversee content creation, and use data-driven insights to continuously optimise performance. You'll also line manage a Social Media Executive, supporting their development and ensuring consistent delivery across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement organic social media strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Create and maintain a social media calendar aligned with brand campaigns, key dates, and partnership activity.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social content reflects brand tone, messaging, digital and campaign objectives.
Content Creation & Oversight
  • Lead the creation of engaging, platform-specific content including copy, imagery, video, and graphics.
  • Oversee the Social Media Executive in producing and scheduling content, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Source and repurpose content from internal teams, partners, and campaigns to showcase the firm's work and values.
Community Management
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across platforms, maintaining a consistent and professional brand voice.
  • Proactively engage with followers, partners, and influencers to build relationships and grow our community.
Performance & Reporting
  • Track and analyse social media performance using platform analytics and reporting tools.
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to optimise content and strategy.
  • Report on KPIs including reach, engagement, follower growth, and content performance.
Team Leadership
  • Line manage the Social Media Executive, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure delivery against deadlines and objectives.
Collaboration & Brand Alignment
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure social media supports wider brand initiatives, campaigns and partnership activity.
  • Liaise with internal teams (Content, Legal, Design, PR) to ensure content is accurate, compliant, and on-brand.
  • Support cross-channel integration with CRM, paid media, and website activity.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience managing organic social media channels for a brand or organisation.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with an eye for design and storytelling.
  • Experience managing, coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in social media tools and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Confident working independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Passionate about brand building and audience engagement.
