ABOUT THE ROLE
The Bamford Collection is currently seeking a creative and experienced
Social Media Manager
to play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of
Bamford and The Club by Bamford.
An exciting and varied role that takes you away from a typical desk job and opens up a world of creative possibilities to tell our brand story through curated visuals and copy. Channelling your passion for sustainable luxury and wellbeing, you will carve out space online to inspire, engage and convert.
This role can be based at our office in
South Kensington or at the Daylesford Farm
in Gloucestershire with one day of travel a week.
40 hours per week
Salary 35,000 - 40,000 per annum.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Building and executing a social media plan to communicate brand stories and commercial priorities, in line with current and emerging social trends. This will include clear recommendations on posting cadences, target audiences, content guidelines and creative that will best engage with our audience.
Managing and maintaining our social media accounts across all owned platforms (including, but not limited to, Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn) including scheduling, posting, copywriting and regular monitoring of comments and UGC.
Report weekly on social media metrics using analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data driven decisions to optimise performance.
Stay obsessively on top of latest social media trends, algorithms and best practices and informing others internally. Staying abreast of competitor activity and industry trends to identify new opportunities.
Collaborating with key stakeholders around the business (including key subject matter experts) to plan, develop and capture engaging and relevant content for the day-to-day output across our social channels. Supporting content across our brands where required and briefing.
Regularly attending a host of varied events across our sites to capture content that engages new audiences with our values and stories. Covering panel talks, wellness, treatments, fitness and more. Occasional flexibility with your time is required to attend these events taking place in the evening or at the weekend.
Working with the marketing team to prepare the social media arm of a campaign or product launch, including behind the scenes content on shoots, 'making of' location social shoots and collections arriving in store.
Working closely with our Marketing and Creative teams to ensure social posts are aligned with key seasonal wellness moments, NPD and theme launches, with consistent content across all customer touchpoints.
Working with Guest Services to interact with followers, customers, and stakeholders on social media platforms, ensuring they are responded to promptly and professionally in the brand social TOV.
SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
2-3 years in a comparable role within a luxury retail, wellness, hospitality, or lifestyle brand, demonstrating familiarity with premium brand standards and customer expectations.
Content Production
: Proven ability to create and edit user-generated style content with a meticulous eye for detail and brand alignment.
Video Editing Expertise
: Proficient in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), with a strong portfolio showcasing dynamic and engaging visual storytelling.
Data Literacy
: Skilled in performance reporting and analytics, using data-driven insights to inform creative and strategic decisions.
Copywriting & Storytelling
: Exceptional writing skills with a flair for storytelling, crafting compelling copy that enhances and complements visual content across platforms.
