Kwalee's PC & Console Marketing team are looking for a talented Social Media Manager who will be responsible for developing social media campaigns and content to capture attention, deliver engagement and create advocacy across key social platforms during go to market and lifecycle phases across multiple titles in Kwalee's portfolio.
This role is heavily focused on content output, so proficiency with image editing and video editing is essential.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and coordinate with multiple disciplines - Product Marketing , Community Management, PR and Influencer Relations to build go to market plans for multiple games.
• Build strong rapport with External Game Development partners and develop working knowledge of games and the features, systems, tone and scope for content creation.
• Develop channel and content plans across multiple social media channels and media types, from static / gifs / short form video, vertical, and horizontal, from game announcement to post launch, meeting content output KPIs.
• Collaborate with CM on messaging as necessary for any adhoc responses to channels.
• Analyse social media metrics and insights to track performance and optimise post performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing and gaming culture, and incorporate innovative ideas into our strategy.
• Build, organise and coordinate social media asset workflow, delivering assets to support across game campaigns, from key moments including (but not limited to) Announcement, Demo Release, Next Fest and Launch.
• Work closely with the Content Creator, ensuring assets are approved and delivered on time as per the posting schedules.
• Create static, gif and video content as required in tandem with Content Creators from a variety of sources including in-game capture, static images and trailer content.
• Monitor engagement and performance of social media postings as necessary.
• Collaborate with the Community Manager in determining messaging and responding to messages, comments and inquiries across social media channels.

Essential Requirements:

• Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends, with a passion for gaming and gaming culture.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content and interact with diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with image editing software, video capture & non linear video editing software.
• Able to work independently but also collaborate with multiple stakeholders, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines.
• Experience with using social media scheduling tools to schedule content.

Desirable Requirements:

• Game Capture experience would be great, but can be taught.
• Experience in managing paid social campaigns and optimising budgets to boost post engagement.
• Art/Video experience.
