Social Media Manager

Taunton, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Job title: Social Media Manager

About the company:

LUX Media is a fast-growing content creation and social media agency specialising in short-form content, video production, and growth strategies. We've built our name in music and entertainment and are now expanding across

hospitality, luxury, nightlife, lifestyle, and events

, working with brands to elevate their online presence on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.

We're a

small but ambitious agency, only a year and a half old

, and already working with major names. Now, as we scale, we're looking for someone who wants to join the journey and become part of the LUX Media family.

At LUX, we don't just make content look good, we make it perform. We're not about the "sit-around, aesthetic-only social media manager" stereotype. We're a hard working, results-driven agency, and every post, caption, and campaign we put out is designed to deliver measurable impact.

About the role:

We're looking for an

ambitious, detail-driven Social Media Manager

who

lives and breathes social media

. This isn't a laid-back, "aesthetic feed only" kind of role, it's a results-focused position where performance matters more than vanity.

You'll be responsible for strategy, scheduling, posting, reporting, influencer campaigns, and community management, as well as client calls and pitches. You'll work closely with our content creators to make sure content is captured, delivered, and posted on time. You'll also help shape the

vision of accounts

, defining how they look, feel, and grow through creative ideas grounded in performance data.

It's a balance of

creativity and precision

- from writing captions that bring content to life, to spotting mistakes before anything goes live, to making sure what we publish drives growth and business results.

This is an

always-on role

. If a post goes out with an error, you'll be the one to fix it - even if it means jumping in out of hours. We want someone who's ambitious, proactive, and excited to be part of building one of the best agencies in the industry.

Must have:

Previous experience in

social media management

- please provide examples of accounts you've managed. Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. Client-facing experience: comfortable leading calls, reporting, and pitches. Ability to commute/relocate. Full driving licence and access to a vehicle. Be very organised as able to plan ahead.
*

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms. Write engaging captions that fit brand voice and capture attention. Manage posting schedules, content calendars, and approvals. Be the

final check for detail

- spotting typos, errors, or off-brand content before it goes live. Collaborate with content creators to ensure content is delivered on time and in line with strategy. Bring creative ideas and vision for how accounts should look, feel, and grow. Monitor and engage with communities (comments, DMs, interactions). Analyse performance and provide monthly client reports and recommendations. Plan and manage influencer marketing campaigns. Stay ahead of social media trends and bring fresh, creative concepts. Contribute to proposals, RFPs, and client pitches.
About you:

Ambitious and hungry to grow with us. You live and breathe social media. Creative thinker with a proven ability to grow accounts and deliver results. Data-driven: you care more about performance than vanity metrics or just how a feed looks. Obsessed with

detail

, making sure content goes out clean and correct. Collaborative, enjoying working closely with content creators and team members. Comfortable balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Self-driven and keen to grow with us as we scale. Positive, approachable, and a natural communicator. Strong understanding of brand tone and storytelling.
Application requirements:

Along with your CV/covering letter, please also submit

the following

:

Examples of social accounts you've managed

(before and after you worked on them, with results).

Case studies or examples of posts/campaigns

you've created that performed well (explain the idea, execution, and results). A short

content calendar mock-up

(1 week for a brand of your choice) to show your creative ideas and attention to detail.

Captions you've written

that show creativity, tone of voice, and engagement ability. Anything else that you feel sets you apart or shows your experience.
Perks:

iPhone 15 Pro Max work phone. Optional work 1 day a week from home. Free hot and cold drinks. Opportunity to work with exciting brands across music,

luxury

, nightlife, and hospitality. Creative freedom to experiment and innovate. Training & development opportunities. Join a small, growing team where your voice matters and your work makes an impact.
